Obsession of Material Things (video)

We are all materialistic. Deny it to kingdom come, there's a part of us that oogles over shiny things, over new things, "designer" things and in general - over stuff. It is not sinful, and it does not have to be a negative aspect of us as human beings. But how we do know we've gone too far...?

Ustad Nouman Ali Khan, one of my favourite people (he brought us the awesome Bayyinah Institute in Chicago), explains in his usual humour, the symptoms of drowning in materialism. It's all round poignant and a valid reminder to love the Dunya less. Sahaba style of course.
