Kazakhstan's #NEWENERGY Expo 2016

In just over a month Kazakhstan's largest energy expo will select the final thirty best start up businesses for their 'green' products.

On October 27, 2016 in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, #NEWENERGY global festival gathers investors and experts in clean tech and renewable energy. They will showcase their ideas for a 'greener economy' to win the opportunity to present them to an international audience.

The event is organised with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Where is Kazakhstan?
Kazakhstan shared borders with China, Russia and Uzbekistan. Its capital Astana is located in the north and is the second largest city.

During the contest the world's top one-hundred start up companies will present their latest global trends at stalls and be assessed by panellists for their start up innovations.

The main fields of development include:

• alternative and renewable energy sources,
• climate and ecology, 
• smart cities and sustainable infrastructure,
• rational and efficient use of water resources,
• new production technologies and methods - all for the opportunity to present their idea in next year's final expo-2017.

Experts panel and visitors will vote for just thirty best start ups from all applicants who will go on to contest for the main prize and unique chance to present their companies at Astana EXPO-2017, the leading event in energy efficiency that will be held in Kazakhstan again.

Submissions are open from August 9, 2016 until October 1, 2016.
