The Other Uses Of A #Jilbaab

Picking plums is such a beautiful blessing from Allah. As a Muslim looking at the world through organic lenses I strongly believe that God, Allah, has provided us all the nutrition in the world, if we just knew how to grow it.

Our fruit orchard has been growing over 10 years now; we harvest cherries, strawberries, apples, pears and Victoria Plums - pictured. Wallahi, they are deeelicious, seriously.

[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]. Qur'an, 2:22

The taste test... can't speak, eating... shh.

Eco-Mum, both eco-sisters and I have picked well over 200 plums, alhamdulillah (all praise belongs to God) and shared them with friends, neighbours, school teachers and our work places.

I think today I will bring some in for our Eco-Mosque students. A honey tasting sweet treat insha-Allah (God willing)!
