Get Published! Submit Ideas For The Ultimate Green Ramadan Crafts Book

For Ramadan 2013 I am publishing an eco-crafts book which will contain tutorials, photos and green Ramadan projects for families to do over the fasting season.


I have a few eco-craft tutorials from over the years that my family and mosque have done together but I think it would be much nicer for others to contribute. Many of our friends are very creative and we network with other green Muslims with amazing upcycling ideas.

Some existing Green Ramadan Crafts to inspire you:

• Toilet roll Ramdan calendars
• Dua jars
• Origami stars
• Upcycled Eid cards
• Organic cupcakes
• Lanterns made from soda cans
• Recycled Zakat box

Your project can be as simple or elaborate as you wish, it can be edible, decorative, a gift idea or a piece of couture art. Even if your project isn't entirely 'crafty', it will still be considered for the Green Ramadan Book. It just needs to be suited to Ramadan and fasting, and of course have an eco-touch!
