RI&CA is an acronym of Regional Inspection & Certification Agency, a 100% local and Muslim owned organization. RI&CA is now providing Halal certifications and training services in Pakistan and abroad under the agreement with Jamia Binoria Aalamia along with the accreditation system of IHI, Malaysia
IHI Alliance being a global Halal authority recognised by the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) is now taking the lead to address the urgent need of producing highly competent auditors adept with not only the Shariah (Islamic law) aspect but also other technical and ethical requirements that contribute to Halal as a holistic premium standard in the market.
The Halal Lead Auditor’s Training (HLAT) program has been introduced in Pakistan.
The outline of this training program is to elevate the quality of the Halal auditing process in accordance with the guidelines set forth in ICCI-IHI Alliance Halal standard. The program is committed to provide Halal auditors with structured methodologies of Halal conformity assessment.
Some of the course areas include:
HLAT also imposes stringent criteria in maintaining Halal integrity, striking a balance between theoretical and practical skills essential for auditors with different levels of experience.

In this regard RI&CA & IHI Alliance are jointly organising a three and a half days Halal Lead Auditor’s Training (HLAT) course from 25th April 2011 - 28th April 2011 in Karachi, Pakistan.
