It's only with great passion and love for Allah's design that a Muslim grows organic. Growing tomatoes is the first step to understanding why parents nurture their children; you care, provide, watch and guide little saplings and seeds into fruitful beings. A notable metaphor no doubt.
Growing tomatoes is pretty easy. I suggest buying plugs - shoots taken from larger tomato plants. This is much easier than growing from seed. All they need are few vital ingredients:
- Heat: Greenhouses and conservatories work best.
- Hydration: overwatering can seriously kill but the soil in tomato plants needs to stay moist and pH balanced.
- Rich soil: alkali soil doesn't yield the best crop, do not begin with compost, using garden soil instead (take out all weeds); it needs to be light and clump/clay free.
