Celebrate Ramadan in the digital world! Every 50th liker of the Facebook.com/TheEcoMuslim page will receive a customised greeting card handmade by The Eco Muslim.

Merry Ramadan! *girly-jump* All praise belongs to Allah for allowing us to see this month of self-improvement (Zuhd), protection (Taqwa) and training.

I, like many of you, glared at the bluish night sky in Britain to search for a lick of moon but alas, the new crescent moon (hilal) sightings showed nought in Yorkshire therefore Ramadan for (most) Britons begins on Wednesday, the 10th of July 2013. Insha-Allah.

To welcome Ramadan I have organised a little gift giving session from me to you. I currently have 3,700 'likes' from active Facebook users and I think it's nice to give back to the support.

This Ramadan I will be continuing my 'Eidmassy' tradition of giving greeting cards to every 50th person who clicks 'LIKE' on the Facebook.com/TheEcoMuslim page. That means the 3,750th person will get one, the 3,800th person and so on.

Of course it's an upcycled card of superlative quality. I used to make-design-sell for a living so high green quality is what this gift is all about.

The cut-off date for sending out cards will be 01 August 2013 as international deliveries can take up to 5 working days. When I let you know you're the winner of a customised card, please provide me with a mailing address and the words you'd like stamped on the front of your card.
