Wudhu is the ablution made by Muslims before prayer. It is a significant step towards worshipping God in a purer state and it cleanses a person's inner soul as well as outer body.

All too often we as Muslims take our wudhu for granted. Rushing it and ignoring our 'water impact', we lose out on its spiritual effects. We're fussy, and we're more concerned with the prayer than its preparation. I remember all too often not even thinking about each step and letting water overflow.

In this video Shaykh Khatir demonstrates to student the human side to this basic act of worship. It's worthwhile to watch and an eye-opener of how wudhu needs to be performed.
