Green Deeds #7: Love-Eco Socks - Buy One Pair, Give Another To A Child

Their slogan reads "Socks for Happy People", but my eco-faith paused a bit when I saw the price tag for a pair of Love Eco's Affirmation Socks. Holy roti, how much?

However, this is no ordinary foot love. These are eco-socks made from 80% sustainable cotton and 20% good design. All the more reason to get a pair for making wudhu in public (yes, even the eco-muslim takes off her wellies, eventually).

And even more important is the ethical part, which really does add a spiritual element to footwear:
