Bismillah, in the name of Almighty God,
As'salam`alaikum!

Recently, Yolande D’Mello from Mid-Day got in touch with me about an eco-muslim feature for their newspaper. Mid-Day is India's equivalent to British tabloids; based in Mumbai, Mid-Day is an entertainment newspaper aimed at working people for a little light hearted news.

Yolande asked me questions about my eco projects, why I started the eco muslim site and what faith has got to do with environmentalism.

You can read through the paper online by clicking onto epaper - Mid-Day.com to pp. 25-26. (I'm on page 26).

Or, read directly from the newspaper segment below in which the column is published. It's called, "Does God Recycle?" I think it's great that a holistic perspective was taken; eco Hinduism, green Sikhs, imams and eco Christianity.

Right click image, download. That's me with the yellow.

I did try to represent some truth to Islam's ethos as well as giving personal ethics which I am rooted on. What do you think of it?
